BMW recently revealed a concept car called the GINA Light Model. This amazing vehicle shows how their designers are constantly thinking outside the box and pushing the envelope of what is possible. Although the aerodynamic roadster may look like just another high end sports car, it is far from it.
The entire skin of the car is a special textile fabric with unprecedented flexibility and durability. It is designed around a revolutionary space-frame structure that moves and transforms creating a vehicle that truly is flexible and takes on emotion. BMW hopes that GINA will inspire their designers and engineers to think differently and continue to experiment with radical new designs and materials.
